The Patundas Trek is one of the most popular adventures in the upper Hunza Valley, leading to the breathtaking Patundas Meadows. From here, you'll enjoy a bird's-eye view of nearly all the iconic peaks of Hunza — snow-covered giants rising above drifting fog and mist, creating a scene you'll never forget.
Perched on a ridge between the Passu and Batura Glaciers, Patundas serves as a summer pasture, where villagers from Ghulkin bring their cattle between May and August. The vantage point offers spectacular views of some of the Karakoram's finest summits.
The trek begins at Borith Lake, passing through Passugar and Luzdhar before reaching Patundas, with routes skirting along the glaciers. It's a short, easy trek, suitable for all ages, and doesn't require peak physical fitness — making it perfect for anyone who wants to experience the magic of Hunza's highlands.
